Intercity Freiburg Hotel This hotel was very good but there were a few things that would cause us not to stay here again. There was no air conditioning in our room (711) and we therefore had to leave the window open at night but then the trains kept us awake all night. This was a big problem and such a pity as the rest of the hotel was very good. Breakfast was very good, the room was clean and nice and the bathroom was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

"First Class" I had the pleasure of staying in this hotel and unfortunately just for one night. I was coming back from a long driving holiday across France and Germany and needed somewhere to stay the last night before my flight home to Ireland. This is a first class hotel. It cost 95 euros for a double room that had air conditioning, TV and spotless bathroom and clean bed linen. We were right beside the train station which was no distraction or disturbance at all. We were also ten minutes walk from the centre of town. The staff were more than helpful and they told us where to go for a meal even though it was late in the evening although there were quite a variety of food plazas beside the hotel. The breakfast was also well laid out and the staff again were helpful in getting us what we needed. I would have no hesitation recommending a stay here.
