"A Hidden Gem"
can't beleive nobody has reviewed this place!!! This new hotel is 5 minutes outside of Freiberg and 5 minutes off the A5 Autobahn. Rooms are very clean, modern and air conditioned. The rooms are not huge but bigger than most rooms in Europe and they are nicely furnished. The staff are are extremely nice; most mornings I was greeted by name. The included breakfast is fantastic (fresh OJ, cheeses, meats, pastries, egs, bacon, fruit etc) and you can sit outside on the terrance and dine under the chestnut trees.
The outdoor pool is "okay" but it was nice to take a dip after a hot day in Freiburg.
Hotel restaurant is very good and if you ate lunch or dinner there you wouldn't be dissapointed. (Hint: Eat at Enoteca in Freiberg and try and get Guiseppe as your waiter and if they have the special veal chop you must get it). I ate dinner at Enoteca two nights in a row and it was sooooo good. The Michelin rated Hotel Park Columbi restaurant is also excellent (best lamb I had in a long time).
Highly recommend this hotel. Don't be put off by the lack of reviews. For the price, you can't beat it. I have paid lots more for hotels in Europe and received a lot less.
Freiberg is a great city with enough shopping and restaurants to keep you entertained for a day or two. The Saturday market on the town square was clean and well organized.

"Very nice hotel - First class restaurant - Friendly staff"
This is a very nice hotel. Nice modern rooms. The location is near the autobahn, outside of Freiburg. Very friendly staff. Great food at the restaurant. Parking is free. Would go back anytime.

"Fantastic Food"
A wonderful hotel in the suburbs of Freiburg. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was comfortable, clean and very good value at approx £70.
Given that we were a car journey from the centre of Freiburg we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant and were not disappointed. The food was excellent with dishes sourced from local produce; the wine list was extensive yet reasonable. I have rarely had a better meal in Germany.
I had mistakenly assumed that the hotel would be in the centre of Freiburg when I booked it but as long as you are aware of its location and have some means of transport then I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.
